This video is from our first game drive in Timbavati Private Game Reserve. We came across a hyena den around sunset and were fortunate enough to observe a whole family of hyenas rolling around in the dirt and laughing their heads off. If you turn up the volume you can hear them laughing and the sound is crazy. The Lion King did not exaggerate anything. You can also hear us starting to get a little uneasy as one of them got uncomfortable close to the vehicle.
