Largest Cities in Iceland
Iceland is a tiny island nation with a total population of only about 387,800. Not surprisingly, the vast majority of the population lives in and around the capital city of Reykjavik. After Reykjavik, the #2 and #3 largest municipalities in the country are still part of the Reykjavik capital region. In fact, the only municipality in the top 10 that is not located in the southwestern region of the country is Akureyri.
